Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy and solo artist fame) plays Jimi Hendrix’ Red House at a mostly pedestrian 50th Fender Stratocaster Anniversary concert, which included an impressive list of guitar slingers. But, Gary put on the performance that captured what Strats, amplified blues and especially what Hendrix was all about. When hearing the performance, it becomes clear that he is pouring out his personal appreciation and soul to Jimi Hendrix, not Leo Fender, the other musicians or the audience that was previously sitting on their hands. This is the real deal, Gary. You, and performances like these are sorely missed, thank you.
